interprété différemment selon le récepteur auquel il est destiné. L'énonciateur met en
œuvre des stratégies pour convaincre son interlocuteur, car toute situation a ses propres
exigences, conséquemment les arguments doivent être adaptés à la situation et au
destinataire. Le poids du discours et sa force de persuasion ne dépendent pas seulement de
ce qu’il énonce l'orateur, mais ils résultent également de l'image qu'il donne de sa
personne, et de l'impression qu'il produit sur son auditoire.
Dans ce travail nous tenons à accentuer le rôle de l’art de bien parler dans la
réussite et la transmission du message d’un discours prononcé car sans la communication
rien ne peut avancer ; ni nos relations personnelles ni notre vie professionnelle ni même
notre développement culturel. La communication est avant tout une activité d’influence
(Goffman 1974), c’est un appareil très vigoureux pour celui qui détient l’art de manipuler
